We have two aims:
-> Restore more wildness to the UK
-> Inspire people to feel part of a wider (and wilder!) more-than-human ecosystem
To do this we fund the restoration of land, and provide subscriptions for people to be part of this change. We then capture these changes in different ways to share with our subscribers. We believe seeing land transform and wildlife return is inspiring. This is especially important when it is easy to feel overwhelmed by the scale of environmental challenges.
Ultimately, we want to show that people value land for the habitat it can create, not just what can be taken from it.
"The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is now."
Similarly, for bringing back wildness. Much of modern life involves instant gratification. We're not that. Restoration takes time. Join us for a journey and to enjoy being part of the seasonal changes. To watch wildness emerge, in its own time, in its own way.
1 - Sign-up
Choose between a monthly or annual subscription. We'd recommend annual as this is more in keeping with the pace of change. But we understand that this is a new idea for many people. To help this we've created a £9 for 3 months offer. This means you can try it and see if it works for you.
2- You will be part of a 3 acre project
You sign up to follow a 3 acre project and your subscription goes towards restoring this area. We do this through our partners including a Wildlife Trust and regenerative farmers.
3- Choose a unique 3 metre by 3 metre tile
Using what3words (https://what3words.com/) you can identify and choose your own unique tile to follow. Your tile will help you see the project from a different perspective. You will still be able to see all updates from the rest of the project.
You can also choose a tile first if you prefer (click on image)
4- See life return to land
We will provide you regular personalised updates so that you can be part of the transformation. This will include photos, audio and video. You will see how the landscape changes and the wildness that returns. We will also collate and share some of the best and most inspiring stories of rewilding succeses from around the UK.
5- Catalyse change
Our aim is to show that people value land as habitat. We believe we can scale your impact to make the UK significantly wilder. This will improve biodiversity. There is also growing evidence that rewilding sequesters carbon, can mitigate flooding and drought, and inspires people to take more environmental action.
