Subscription terms and conditions

Wild Mosaic – Subscription Terms and Conditions

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING-UP TO A SUBSCRIPTION

  1. What's in these terms?

These terms tell you the terms and conditions on which you can purchase a subscription from us to help fund restoration work to rewild land in the United Kingdom (“Subscriptions”). Further details of the Subscriptions, including how they work and what you can expect to receive in return for a Subscription, are set out on our website www.wildmosaic.eco/.

By purchasing a Subscription, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (the “Subscription Terms”).

You should print a copy of these Subscription Terms for future reference.

  1. Who we are and how to contact us

www.wildmosaic.eco/ (the “site”) is a website operated by Mosaic Rewilding Ltd ("we", “us”). We are registered in England and Wales under company number 13956557 and our registered office is at 26 Albany Road, London, E12 5BE.

To contact us, please email support@wildmosaic.eco.

  1. How the contract is formed between you and us

When you sign-up for a Subscription on our site, you will receive an email confirming we have received your payment. We will contact you again to confirm that we have accepted your Subscription. A contract is not formed between you and us until we have confirmed that we have accepted your Subscription.

Sometimes we may reject Subscriptions, for example because we have been unable to set up a direct debit to take Subscription payments from you.

Cooling-off period

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom and you purchase a Subscription from us, you have fourteen days from the date we confirm your Subscription to change your mind. If you change your mind, please contact us and we will refund you any fees that you have paid for a Subscription. If you end your Subscription during the cooling-off period, the contract between you and us will terminate.

  1. There are other terms that may apply to you

These Subscription Terms refer to the following additional terms, which also apply to your use of our site:

  1. We will charge you for the Subscription

We take payment for each Subscription at periodic intervals. You can select how frequently you want to pay for a Subscription (i.e. monthly, annually) when you sign-up for a Subscription. By signing-up for a Subscription, you authorise us to take payment for your Subscription on an ongoing basis.

  1. We may make changes to these Subscription Terms or the Subscriptions

Before you purchase a Subscription, you should ensure that you understand the Subscription Terms that apply at that time. These Subscription Terms were most recently updated on 07/04/24.

We may make changes to these Subscription Terms or the Subscriptions whilst you have an ongoing Subscription and these changes will apply to your Subscription.

  1. We can always make changes to the Subscription Terms or Subscriptions to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements and to make minor technical adjustments and improvements, for example to address a security threat.

  2. If we make changes that will affect your use of the Subscription, including any changes to the price of a subscription, we will notify you in advance. You can then contact us to end your Subscription before the change takes effect and receive a refund for any period of a Subscription that you've paid for in advance, but not received.

  1. We may suspend or withdraw the Subscriptions (and you have rights if we do)

We can suspend or withdraw the supply of a Subscription to:

  1. deal with technical problems or make minor technical changes;

  2. update the service to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements; or

  1. make changes to the service (see “We will charge you for the Subscription

  1. We may make changes to these Subscription Terms or the Subscriptions”); or

  2. stop providing the Subscriptions.

We will contact you in advance to tell you we're suspending or withdrawing the Subscriptions, unless the problem is urgent or an emergency. If we suspend supply, or tell you we're going to suspend supply, for more than [two weeks] or permanently you can contact us to end your Subscription and we'll refund you for any period of a Subscription that you've paid for in advance, but not received.

  1. You can end your Subscription

You can end your Subscription by:

  1. contacting us and giving [seven days’] notice before your next payment that you wish to end your Subscription; or

  2. by cancelling your direct debit to us.

When you end your Subscription, the contract between you and us will terminate.

  1. We can end your subscription

We can end your Subscription and claim any compensation due to us if:

  1. you don't make any payment to us when it's due and you still don't make payment within [seven days] of our reminding you that payment is due; or

  2. you don't, within a reasonable time of us asking for it, provide us with information, cooperation or access that we need to provide the service.

If we end your Subscription, the contract between you and us will terminate.

  1. We are not responsible for delays outside our control

If our supply of a Subscription is delayed by an event outside our control, we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and do what we can to reduce the delay. As long as we do this, we won't compensate you for the delay, but if the delay is likely to be substantial you can contact us to end your Subscription and receive a refund for any services you have paid for in advance, but not received.

  1. Our responsibility for loss or damage suffered by you

We're responsible for losses you suffer caused by us breaking these Subscription Terms if the loss was:

  1. Unexpected. It was not obvious that it would happen and nothing you said to us before we accepted your order meant we should have expected it (so, in the law, the loss was unforeseeable).

  1. Caused by a delaying event outside our control. As long as we have taken the steps set out in the section “You can end your Subscription

You can end your Subscription by:

  1. contacting us and giving [seven days’] notice before your next payment that you wish to end your Subscription; or

  2. by cancelling your direct debit to us.

If we end your Subscription, the contract between you and us will terminate.

  1. We are not responsible for delays outside our control”.

  2. Avoidable. Something you could have avoided by taking reasonable action, including following our reasonable instructions for use.

  3. A business loss. It relates to your use of a product for the purposes of your trade, business, craft or profession.

  1. How we may use your personal information

We will only use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.

  1. We may transfer this agreement to someone else

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation. We will always tell you in writing if this happens and we will ensure that the transfer will not affect your rights under the contract.

  1. Nobody else has any rights under these Subscription Terms

This contract is between you and us. Nobody else can enforce it and neither of us will need to ask anybody else to sign-off on ending or changing it.

  1. If a court invalidates some of the terms in these Subscription Terms, the rest will still apply

If a court or other authority decides that some of these Subscription Terms are unlawful, the rest will continue to apply.

  1. Even if we delay in enforcing these Subscription Terms, we can still enforce them later.

We might not immediately chase you for not doing something (like paying) or for doing something you're not allowed to, but that doesn’t mean we can't do it later.

  1. Resolving disputes with us

If you have a dispute with us:

You can complain to us: if you have an issue regarding a Subscription or these Subscription Terms, please contact us and we will do our best to resolve any problems that you have with us or any Subscription. You can ask us to repeat or fix a Subscription if it's not carried out with reasonable care and skill, or get some money back if we can't fix it.

You can go to court: these Subscription Terms are governed by English law and wherever you live you can bring claims against us in the English courts. If you live in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring claims against us in the courts of the country you live in. We can claim against you in the courts of the country you live in.
